Odin's Divine Assistance

[0:31:00–0:33:33] Eric, a slave, is bound to a stake in the “slop pool” at low tide and left to drown. He cries out to the god Odin. The daughters of Odin are heard (in the form of wordless vocalization) and the wind changes, pushing the tide out to sea and saving his life.

Toward the end of the scene the chorus sings a melody similar to those in Gone with the Wind, one that later becomes Eric and Morgana’s love theme.
